What can I say about a place in the middle of almost anywhere with charming decoration, farm feeling , very good staff and wonderful food? That’s you’ll find here at Gadiolis Canteen. We ordered a gratin gnochi at four cheese and a rose lasagna, the were wonderful but the gnocchi…. I’m speechless. You may find here too a antipasto room with pates, creams and other stuffs including desserts charged by weight. I strongly recommend you to know this place. Sure I’ll come back another day

Best Italian restaurant in the region

This was the best Italian restaurant I've been to outside of Italy! I highly recommend the four cheese rondelle. The a la carte menu is basically a book, they have so many items in it. There's also a "per kilo" section as well. If you like cheese, pasta, meat or any classic Italian food, they will have something you like.

The tilapia adorê was really good, fresh fish. The rice that came with the fish was also tasty. The massas, however, the were not good, they are too mushy. Ordered tagliarini in molho rosé and gnocchi in ao sugo with meatballs, massas on both were overcooked. But, the molho ao sugo and the meatballs was good. The garçom Eduardo and other garçons were really kind and attentive.

The best homemade pasta!!! The bologonese lasagna was fantastic!! During this pandemic, safety measures were all in place. I ate all my lasagna before I even stopped to take a photo... 🤣 Bring plenty of cash!!! No credit or debit cards accepted!!!
